At LASDES the team is extremely aware of the gap that exists between the ideals of justice and its actual delivery. There are many that are left out of its umbrella due to various reasons, i.e. cumbersome procedural delays, lack of information that is easily understood by the masses, prevalent illiteracy that leads to un-appreciation of nuances of the legal procedures. LASDES’s work is aimed towards guiding anyone who approaches them in such a situation to understand their legal rights better, free of cost services of a lawyer for the conduct of a case or a legal proceeding in any court, tribunal, or an authority. LASDES welcomes socially, economically, and financially deprived citizens to approach it in order to receive free of cost legal counselling.
